As a Certified Public Accounting Firm we are dedicated to practicing in accordance with the highest ethical and professional standards. It is this dedication to quality and service that will assure our client's individual needs are satisfied.

The choice of an accounting firm should be based on the ability of the firm to perform the required services competently and for a reasonable fee. Many accounting firms can meet this criterion. Your task is to select one firm that can go beyond simply fulfilling service obligations and offer its clients personal attention of the account executive and financial guidance tailored specifically to client needs. We are that firm. Our firm philosophy emphasizes the individuality of clients and the unique nature of each business operation. We are committed to providing our clients with quality, professional service at a reasonable cost; service which includes imaginative, constructive suggestions to help the client achieve business and personal goals.

Our role as Certified Public Accountants will go beyond objectively appraising our client's financial position. We can provide assistance concerning internal operating systems and controls and sound financial management, not just as a goal but as a tool for daily operations. We also have the necessary tax planning experience to ensure that no important tax advantage is overlooked or under-assessed.

As a progressive accounting firm we recognize that our involvement cannot be limited to our profession and client services but must extend to include contributions to the welfare of the communities in which we live. This is accomplished by maintaining a working knowledge of the local business climate and setting an example of quality service, professionalism and integrity. Clients of Duffner & Company P.C. receive the benefit of our expertise on an on-going basis. We emphasize personal contact of the account executive and thus direct involvement in all the accounting functions relating to their operation. William J. Duffner, C.P.A., M.S.T. (Founder)

Professional Experience:

  • Associated with two international Public Accounting Firms for six years.
  • Forty-four years practicing in the present firm.

  • Master of Science Degree in Taxation
  • Millikin University
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy and Economics in June 1974
  • Received CPA certificate in November 1979

  • Bill is the proud parent of 5 children and a grandfather to 15 grandchildren.

Patrick T. Duffner, C.P.A. (Managing Partner)

Professional Experience:

  • Seventeen years with current firm
    • Completed three summer internships with Duffner & Company, P.C. as well as a full time tax internship from January - April 2006 with Pry Professional Group Certified Public Accountants in Findlay, Ohio

  • Received CPA certificate in June 2012.

  • Patrick and his wife, Amy, stay busy taking care of their four energetic daughters.

Stacy Dugger

  • Received Associates Degree in Business from Moraine Valley Community College.
  • 18 years of accounting and bookkeeping services with Duffner & Company P.C.
  • Assisting in the compilation and analysis of monthly financial statements for over 80 McDonald franchises and the related management companies.
  • Customer relations-directing client requests.
  • Stacy is happily married and has 2 beautiful children. She enjoys attending her kids sporting events, going to concerts and watching reality tv shows.

Megan T. Haggerty

  • Graduated Cum Laude from Butler University with a Bachelor of Science.
  • 18 years of accounting and bookkeeping services with Duffner & Company P.C.
  • Responsible for the completion of quarterly payroll tax returns and sales tax returns for selected clients.
  • Assisting in the compilation and analysis of monthly financial statements for over 80 McDonald franchises and the related management companies.
  • Megan is happily married and has 3 beautiful children. She enjoys Spenga, playing volleyball and spending time with family.

Marie McGuire

  • Studied accounting at Moraine Valley Community College.
  • The newest team member of Duffner & Company. She is the friendly voice and smiling face when you walk in the door.
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements for over 80 McDonald franchises and the related management companies.
  • Marie is a mom of 2 amazing boys. She enjoys being outdoors and spending her time off with the kids.
